R o o T S nostalgia for a immigrated this very intimate work evoques the nagging and eternal question of the return to the roots and the visceral attachment to the terroir and the love that this gives every time. This fusion the relationship with its land of origin is beautifully sung and magnified by the artist, who thus expresses a flawless attachment to the land of his ancestors.
Living this new posture as a priesthood by its author, “Roots” ended up in a project that aims essentially to dissuade the young African from trying to go on adventure by risking his life and to avoid this massive rural exodus that ended up emptying our Co African skill of all their valid arms. A special emphasis is placed on the ravages of clandestine immigration that such a macabre odyssey relentlessly pursues its murderous razzia.
This work speaks of the return to “sources” (roots), of the love of the terroir.
His main objective has finally become a project to dissuade the young person from going to adventure and exodus or attempting immigration that continues inexorably his macabre odyssey.
Roots also helps to stigmatize the uprooted village intellectual and invites him to sew up this important fabric for reconciliation among peoples whose identity is at risk.
The vision of roots is twofold because it is:-To restore to the villages its original values by respecting and safeguarding its environment-and finally to invite the immigrant to return to the fold.
